If you are a homeowner and made more than 500,000 this past year, you are in for a shocker. A law was passed last year to end the Star property tax reduction for those who made 500,000 and over.These changes will save the State roughly 125 million. Unfortunately, some making less than that may also see their tax bill changed somewhat. These changes have to be made by this Sunday,so the state is out sending letters and cards in order to verify this information before tax bills are sent out in September.
